Meet the Owner of Rocket Ride Cycles
My name is Mark “Marco” Bjishkian and I am the owner/operator of Rocket Ride Cycles in Delray Beach Florida. Rocket Ride Cycles is a Motorcycle Repair Shop and I work on all types of motorcycles. I began working on bicycles as soon as I was old enough to ride them. Around the age of 10 I became excited about cars and motorcycles with my father. When I entered high school I took a special automotive program for 2 years which I excelled and had the highest grade in my class. Out of high school I apprenticed at A Vintage British Car shop working on: Jaguars, MGBs, Aston Martins, ACs, Austin Healy’s, Triumphs, TVRs and British, BMW, Vintage Triumphs, AJs, BSAs and Norton brand motorcycles. I continued in the automotive field and acquired my ASE Master Certification for all fields of automotive repair. I have always owned, repaired and serviced my own British, BMW and Harley Davidson motorcycles. I accepted work at Capital Easy Rider’s in Maryland in 1994 and began the adventure into custom choppers working on motorcycles such as: Big Dogs, Titans, and ASPTs.
It’s safe to say that I have worked on cars and motorcycles for most of my life. I am originally from the Washington DC metro area and have always wanted to own and operate my own shop. The problem was the weather in my hometown did not allow for a very long riding season, so my solution was to move somewhere that you could ride all year long! Then I could open a shop and maybe make a living at it! I work on motorcycles made by every manufacturer there is: Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, BMW, Norton, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, Aprilia, BSA, AJ, MotoGuzzi, Ducati, MV Agusta, BiMota, Benelli, Ural, Titan, Big Dog, Vengeance, American IronHorse, Big Mikes Choppers, Big Bear Choppers, Ultra Motorcycles, Carefree Customs, Victory, Suzuki, Custom Hand Built Motorcycles, Chinese pocket bikes, Chinese scooters and of course all the Japanese and Italian scooters! I provide customized and personal service for men, women and children and offer special discounts for law enforcement, active military, and firefighters and any other type of first responder out there. My father was a combat wounded Vietnam vet, and without him Rocket Ride Cycles would not have become a reality! So out of respect for his service I do my best to take care of people that provide a similar service to our country and citizens.
After several years at smaller independent shops I landed a job at Ft. Lauderdale Harley-Davidson. This began my foray into the factory H-D training and culture. I was sent to Milwaukee for training at the motor company and to Kansas to the Big Dog Motorcycle factory for training with the product line that they offered. I was also trained in EFI tuning and dyno tuning while at the dealer. Using dealer information and techniques to repair and service all the product lines that we offered. I was introduced to a lot of big name people in the motorcycle word: Jesse James, Eddie Trotta, Stephen Tyler of Aerosmith, Billy Lane, Arlen Ness and countless others with very cool motorcycles and or products.
After a lot of hard work and saving money, I was able to open Rocket Ride Cycles in February 2012. I have been at the current location since May of 2012. I work very hard to present my customers with the very best experience possible, whether it’s answering questions, working on their motorcycle, or planning for the future. I want to be YOUR motorcycle shop. So I strive to give you the best that there is to have! Please come and see me, I’d love to meet you.
